About Shambhala
Canada's longest-running electronic festival, held on a working ranch along the Salmo River in the Kootenays since 1998. Six stages, each with its own crew and its own sound system, no corporate sponsors anywhere on site — a stubbornly family-run operation that has outlasted most of the festivals that copied it. The 28th edition runs the last weekend of July 2027; lineup announcements land in the spring.
